Pricing for Content Creation
Want a straightforward and transparent way to break down how much I cost? I find these four methods are the easiest for clients of all different kinds of budgets. While I ultimately price myself depending on the budget and needs of my client, I find this a great starting point to get where we need to go.
Hourly
Option One
My hourly rate ranges from $50-$250 per hour depending on my responsibilities. This is a great option if you need a single quick project turned around in a couple of hours.
Percentage of Projected Sales
Option Three
This one is a little trickier to say a flat number, but generally, I get with a company's marketing team and go over data on what kind of impact they want to make with my content. From there I am paid from a percentage of projected sales.
Day Rate
Option Two
My day rate ranges from $800 to $2000 for 10 hours* depending on given responsibilities. This is a great way to calculate how much I cost on longer projects.
Monthly Retainer
Option Four
You don’t need an employee but need content on a fairly regular basis without going through the crazy hassle of hiring me over and over again? Put me on retainer. For a set price, I’ll churn out a certain number of videos or photos per month for your brand. My retainer rates start at $1500.
